Liverpool vs Leicester Preview and possible lineups

We take a look ahead to today Premier League game between Liverpool and Leicester at Anfield. 

 Liverpool: Jurgen Klopp will be without captain Jordan Henderson, who could be out until February with a hamstring injury. Left-back Alberto Moreno (ankle) remains sidelined along with fellow defender and long-term absentee Nathaniel Clyne (back). Daniel Sturridge may miss out through illness.

  Leicester: Daniel Amartey is once again available for selection after he missed the Boxing Day defeat to Watford through suspension. He may slot in at right-back, with Danny Simpson expecting to miss out once again, along with fellow defender Robert Huth and midfielder Matty James.

  Possible lineups:

Liverpool: Mignolet, Gomez, Matip, Lovren, Robertson, Wiljnaldum, Can, Coutinho, Mane, Firmino, Salah.

Leicester: Schmeichel, Amartey, Morgan, Maguire, Fuchs, Ndidi, Iborra, Mahrez, Gray, Albrighton, Vardy.

Leicester haven't done the double over Liverpool since 1998-99. The last three Premier League games between these two sides have seen 14 goals scored. The thoughts of Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp on Leicester: "They are still a wonderful counter-attacking team. The first goal they scored against United was, 'wow', a fantastic pass from Gray and Mahrez was in behind waiting for Vardy. It looks quite easy. "They are fine-tuned and a good football-playing side. That may be the biggest change since Claude Puel [came] in." We have to look after our play and try to play our game against them. Harry Kane scored twice as Tottenham beat Everton to one side at Wembley on Saturday, writing his name into the record books in the process. Son Heung-Min and Christian Eriksen got the other goals as Mauricio Pochettino's side ran out 4-0 winners.
